| About Our Services Unlike many agents and brokers who sell businesses, at Benidorm Total Sales we do not leave you once you have decided on a purchase. We will guide you through the process of buying a business in Spain and assist you to find a team of professionals such as lawyers and accountants. Of course we cannot run yourt bar for you, but we are on the end of the phone if you need help. We do not make silly claims or promises simply to make a sale. We want you to find the right bar at the right price with no nasty suprises such as licence problems (Yes there are agents selling bars with no licence and who do not tell you the real cost to get one! Do be careful of these dodgy people) and unpaid bills from previous owners. We will always be upfront with clients and will be honest about any potential issues and the true legal requirements to secure your business in the right way with a proper licence and permissions. Because we work from home with no expensive office or costs for advertising we are able to pass on these savings to our buyers and sellers with some of the lowest selling fees in the area. We will ensure your business gets off to a great start with the minimum of fuss. Oh there will be problems - there always are, but our experience and knowledge of the way things are done here will help smooth out any unforeseen glitches. You can expect your purchase to be completed in around three to six weeks from the time your offer is accepted by the seller. As soon as you have agreed a price you will be required to pay a 10% deposit which will ensure the business is taken off the market. At this point the seller cannot sell to anyone else. Once a deposit is paid in Spain it is generally not refundable should you change your mind - unless or course it is a problem with the business which you were not made aware off at the time you agreed a price. Your legal team will advice you on this and the terms of the sales contract. Please please please get a lawyer! Once you complete your sale we can assist you with all paperwork, suppliers, additional licences and any other matters you feel you need assistance with. We will always be on the end of the phone in your first months of trading should you need any assistance with problems or simply need a chat. Should you need any legal matters dealing with we can also recommend a local Costa Blanca English Solicitor based in La Nucia, who can help with legal matters both here and in the UK. You can of course deal with this yourself, but we do not recommend this during the first six months until you have found your way around the unique Spanish paper trail which Spain is famous for!
